Hall Hire

The Portland Yacht Club is located centrally on the Portland foreshore and is the perfect location for birthday parties, wedding receptions and special functions.

The clubroom can cater for up to 150 people with ample car parking adjacent to the building. There is all ability access.

Seating can be provided for approx. 80 guests and it is the hirer’s responsibility to set up, decorate the venue and pack up as required.

Cleaning of the hall is required after a function, it is the responsibility of the hirer to clean or organise professional cleaning at their expense.

The club has a licensed bar, which is available for functions, with alcohol provided at bar prices. Bar staff with Responsible Serving of Alcohol accreditation can be provided on request. No BYO available.

PLEASE NOTE: The PYC General Committee has determined that the hall will no longer be available to hire for 18th or 21st birthday parties.
